2018 - 2021: European Year of Cultural Heritage
The year 2018 was presented as the European Year of Cultural Heritage, which aims to promote the participation and approach of Europeans to their cultural heritage, encourage the exchange and appreciation of the rich European heritage and strengthen the feeling of belonging to a common European space.
We could not find a more suitable European frame of reference for the presentation of our strategic partnership project that not only guarantees access to cultural contents but, above all, promotes participation in the creation and dissemination of these contents in a vulnerable group such as people with disabilities.
Collaborative work
The theater has the advantage that encompasses each and every one of the performing arts, so the necessary individualization is achieved for each person (taking into account their strengths, preferences and abilities) while maintaining the motivation for collaborative work and as a teamwork, working together to achieve a common goal that would not be possible without the sum of each and every contribution.
Wide range of objectives
The theater also offers a space to overcome the social discrimination of people with disabilities in order to guarantee access to cultural contents and also to create them.
Taking this into account, we pursue a wide range of objectives that go from the learning of dramatic art strategies and techniques until those which are more transversal and affect the personal development of the participants.

Develop their skills and dramatic competence from a professional point of view.

Cooperate and participate in a play in each organisation.

Develop transversal competences through theater: communication, socialization, social visibility and breaking down existing barriers and social prejudices.

Offer opportunities to our students with functional diversity to know other cultures and cities.

Create networks of cooperation and methodolgies exchange in the area of performing arts that include different institutions and organizations, in order to achieve better opportunities for students and users to participate in social life and promote social changes.

To convey the impact of this project to the relevant local and regional organizations and authorities in order to obtain greater support for the theater and performing arts in people with disabilities through: more training offers, creation of theater festivals where people with disabilities can participate, greater involvement in offering in their cities leisure plans carried out for professional companies that work with people with disabilities, etc.
two phases project
We will develop a project divided into two phases:
- A first course dedicated to a week of specific training in theater and performing arts workshops in each of the partners headquarters
- A second course dedicated to the rehearsal and representation of the plays that will have been designed at each participating institution.
